Hello everyone, welcome to the first blog post to be posted here on jmrabanal.github.io!
I am rather impressed on how I was able to make this possible and usable for both me and you, the readers.
As of the 24th of May, 2026; this is the current state of the blog page of the website:
Pretty lame and unremarkable as of now, but I think that’s okay. Everyone has their own humble beginnings and this just so happens to be mine and honestly,
I’ve realized that the "humble" part is the most important piece of the puzzle for everyone no matter their level of success in life.
We live in a culture that’s obsessed with the highlight reel—the polished portfolio, the seamless final edit.
But we rarely talk about the messy, unpolished, and often "unremarkable" effort that happens behind the screen to get there.
My website as of now is a perfect example of this wouldn’t you agree?
This blog is my attempt to change that narrative for myself. It’s not just a collection of finished projects or a massive blog of my achievements; it’s a living record of the process.
It’s where I’ll document the late-nights experiments in my room, the technical hurdles I’m working through on GitHub, and the steady, often tedious work of refining my creative and technical skills.
Even as an outcome-focused person, I truly believe that understanding where we started, where we went, how we adapted, and succeeded is also an important part of measuring one’s humility.
Therefore, I, again, would like to welcome you to jmrabanal.github.io, my part of the internet.
